Amy,David Lindy to Slim Gaillard's Laughing in Rhythm
In October we hope to go to Columbus, OH for a swing workshop. Workshops are several-hour-long opportunities to receive instruction on all kinds of great swing fundamentals and styling. The upcoming one, called Rocktober, will have an advanced Audition Track taught by the swing champs kevin St. Laurent and Jo Hoffberg. They're capping the class at 20 dancers, to keep it nice and intimate. We spent hours trying to get a decent non-choreographed dance on film (we're not used to the thought of being recorded for the scrutiny of others), and eventually danced our way into a few decent videos.
Since we miss you all so much and can no longer dance in your kitchens, public places, and dance venues, we'll have to settle for coming to you on the computer. We hope you enjoy, we had a blast with this dance, and we look forward to our next in-person dances with you.
