Mom and Dad saw us off at the airport with a big lunch of yummy Christmas leftovers as we make our way to Southern California for the New Year. We made a vow: no more carbon monoxide overexposure next year, okay?
A jolly Christmastime "feel" by the TSA. We are thrilled to learn that backscatter x-rays will soon be de-installed at the airport!
Mom pages us at Ontario and we are picked up at baggage claim. She soon whisks us off to our favorite market Gerard's for delicious molasses cookies and snacks. Then we tour the neighborhood lights, which are just as enthusiastic as the year before.
We're meeting friends in Redlands and San Bernardino the next day.

The next day, having stocked up on our Trader Joe's necessities, its farewell to Mom as we head west to the Valley.
